“The young staff here were always friendly and helpful. The pub has undergone a refurb and they’ve done it in a very respectful way by keeping many of the period features. The owner and his wife were warm and good to talk to. We especially enjoyed snagging the Chesterfield in front of the log fire while eating our pie and consuming a nice Heathcote shiraz at dinner.”
